Hello Everyone!
This is KimberlyRae with a beautiful card I made with Altenew’s Vintage flowers layered stamps!
I totally Adore Every one of Altenew’s layered stamps and Crisp Inks… They all just make me feel Happy!!
I used two of the smaller flowers of the bunch, to make my flower background!
For the inks, I used Altenew Frosty Pink, Coral Berry and Ruby Red; in that order for the Pink flowers and Butter Cream, Warm Sunshine and Caramel Toffee, for the yellow flowers. I have to say Altenew has made the layering process very Easy with their Crisp Inks. Oh! Look for new colors of inks coming October 2nd just around the corner guys…look for the release! Yay!!
TIP: When layering my colors I stamped the bottom layer first, with the lightest color. Then, using the middle stamp I placed it on-top of the bottom stamp so it perfectly lines up. Then, separately stamped the little center of each flower.
To make my flower gold accents I used a tiny flower from the same Stamp set! [see below, in my supplies list for details].
Then, I trimmed the two outer panels to 1.5″ and the center panel to 2″ and adhered to my card base with 3d foam tape.
I stamped my sentiment from Altenew’s Super Script stamp set with VersaMark Ink and embossed with Gold embossing powder. I then, used my Scan N Cut2 Cutter to cut out the word celebrate and also a vellum shadow that I adhered to the back of my sentiment. I think the Vellum really made my sentiment pop!
Creating with Altenew stamps makes me feel that I have made something beautiful!
