Hello Everyone!
Lately, I’ve been playing catch-up blogging! It dawned on me brain cell that I hadn’t blogged a bunch of cards I made over the last few months and maybe, just Maybe someone might be inspired by them or some of the TIPs of mine….who knows?
Anyhow, here’s one of the first cards I made after I got my Zig Real Brush Markers! And Boy, do I Enjoy these things to bits!
Posted to Virginia’s View Challenge –> There’s still time to enter
To make my card I started with an A2 size card base I made from Carta Bella’s White Linen 80# card stock.
Then, I used my Butterfly Die and cut some of my favorite water color paper and stamped my butterfly onto the paper with Memento Black Tux Ink.
I colored my butterfly with my Zig Real Brush Markers and Zig Detail brush. I added a hint of sparkle with my wink of stella clear brush and sat it aside to dry.
I made my background with MFT ‘Modern Blooms’ stamp set and tossed the all the flowers crossed the paper to make a vibrant splash of color.
To make my sentiment I used MFT “Written in Watercolor”and embossed it crossed the edge of the vellum and the flowers!
TIP: I used vellum here to subdue the boldness of the color flowers, so the Butterfly would shine!
Boom and it’s a ‘Happy Birthday’ Card for my Sister!
