Well “Hello” Everyone!
Altenew’s wonderful informative ‘All About Layering” Classes are still going on and more homework.
Here’s my homework card. I had so much Fun making it and going crazy with different techniques and I love it!
I used Altenew’s ‘Painted Flowers’ and ‘Super Script’ stamp sets. The inks I used were Frayed Leaf, Forest Glader, Ruby Red, Coral Berry and Cotton Candy.
First, For the detail flowers I watercolored from the inks the largest flower and leaves and then stamped and embossed the last layer, in a unexpected bright pink.
The two smaller flowers and leaves, I stamped with the inks mentioned above and I just love how the layers look artsy fussy!!
I used the same watercolor the background and embossed all over it .
To get the torn layer of gold, I tore the paper [l o v e this] and versamarked the edge and threw some gold embossing powder on it and Boom, you’ve got a really great torn gold textured layer!
Then, I adhered that layer to the pink watercolor layer and then that layer to an A2 card base I made out of a 110# sheet of 8.5×11″ paper.
Welp! There are ten classes all-in-all and tonight’s the 9th class!
