Hiya! This past week I visited my local Craft Warehouse in Kennewick, Washington and boy I’ll tell ya, they are up on their game!
I found an Entire aisle devoted to LAWN FAWN!
I’m totally loving this company! And what a treat to destress with some stamps, dies and Tim Holtz distressing inks.
So here’s my simple Card for the Distress Challenge #64 going on over at Lawnscaping Challenges!

I’m tellin’ ya this card was so fast and EASY and pretty FUN, I might add!
First, I took a 8.5×11″ piece of Smooth White cardstock and trimmed it in half. Then, I folded it and scored it with my bonefolder.
From there I put a dab of Tim Holtz ‘Spiced Marmalade’ Distress Ink on my acrylic stamp block and added drops of water and painted the ‘sun’ then added more ink and tapped my paint brush to get the speckled sunshine [ink spots].

Then, to stampin’ and die cutting I went with Lawn Fawn’s ‘Home Sweet Home’ Stamp and Die Sets! I also found Lawn Fawn’s acrylic stamping block to come in handy to make my fussy stitch lines and chimney smoke rings.
